Hey englishjakes

What are your thoughts on buying a shadow blade with this type of build?

The pros that I have seen are that you are able to cast your ulti and then the shadow blade without interrupting the chanting.
Also that you can do this with the shadow amulet with some delay.

Hellogoodbye03, man, the last post of the author was in 2013. Forget this guide - it is seriously outdated and bad written. About your question, if want invisibility to channel your ult, Glimmer Cape is a lot better in that manner, and cheaper too. However, a Black King Bar is better than both Shadow Blade and Glimmer Cape.

do not pick witch doctor if they have a brew master for some reason when he uses his ult hes not considered a champion any more and your ult wont target him.

Nice guide overall but you reaaly dont need Vanguard its overpriced for what it does and is mainly for heroes who do alot of tanking creeps like Jungle Doom Bringer

hey man thnx for the feed back (my 1st guide so srry for format) i agree with most of what u said item setup for a serious game should be BKB/Agh/Bloodstone but i have played random games where the other team has no cc in which case BKB is redundant, and i have have played several games where i was being out dpsed and needed the extra health and regen provided by heart of t or if u dont have enough money vangaurd. also im lazy and by adding tank items after you have enough mana makes it really easy to play this guy. and the lane thing it doesnt matter which lane to pick with this build, but you wont want to be in a lane with som1 who is a ranged carry (they get mad u steal all the creeps) and yes go mid if ur the only ranged carry.

You need either a BKB or a Linkens after Agh's, your only "Tanking Option" after either of these should be a Bloodstone and not a Vanguard or a Heart. If you have a BKB/Agh's/Bloodstone, you should be able to 1v4 a team excluding a beefy carry, a tank, or if they have a Rubick. You need the mana to sustain your AoE heal for your team and yourself while you're channeling.

People to look out for in this strat are Beastmaster and others who can stun through BKB.

Guidewise: You need to write it up better, neaten it up, use some color, and tell them where you're going. I would assume Mid, but other players don't know that.

after reading what i wrote, lol i realize that i made it sound like you can solo there whole team this is not what i meant. at all pionts in time, if possible, you dont want to be focused unless ur positive that your opponent has no form of cc and even then unless you have a vanguard and heart of terrasque i dont recommend being in the line of fire. in team fights make sure to get your stun off erly but dont initiate especially erly unless they have no cc.

also i forgot to talk about sentry wards and courier even tho this build is a team carry build wards and courier are still your responsibility. sentry wards are awesome with this guy most of the time i lose kills with this guys is because they run out of sight and my ward stops attacking if you use ur sentry wards right you can eliminate map darkness get extra range out of your ultimate.
