Have you considered making a list of good partners for Disruptor?
Ancient Apparition would probably be a good one, what with Cold Feet + Kinetic Field + Glimpse.
Love the guide. Only one issue with it that I see: "None of your skills scale that well with skillpoints -- they're very good at level 1."
Glimpse has got to be the exception here. The increased casting range is so good. It's ridiculous and rage-inducing at level 4. Aside from that one quibble, nice guide. I might get a few more points in Thunderstrike early just because I generally want to get the most out of my nukes while they still take a good % of enemy hitpoints.
Really great info in this, and all your guides. I can see why some people are surprised at not seeing a strike build on there, I guess, but I think you've explained it well enough. Some variety in the builds on here is a good thing. Good read! +1
I mention maxed strike a few times (3 I think). It's not really an alternative build more an alternative playstyle. I don't think it's very good for most games, but if you're in a lower-skill bracket it's going to be more useful than glimpse since you won't have a team to back you up effectively.
great guide but considering the other's you've written i was kinda disapointed that some builds like thunderstrike max on 7 etc werent explained. regardless +1.
Thanks for the comment. I chose the skillbuild to be a hybrid of the pub build (max strike at 7) and competitive build (max glimpse at 7, max strike at 14 with first point at 4). If you watch some high-level replays you might be able to see some of the utility of maxed glimpse in earlier engagements. One of the most obvious ones is that it ensures a kill when your mid (maybe you) comes for a gank.
Good guide...however i am a little disappointed because it takes till lvl 10 to max Thunder Strike in both guides. A early lvled nuke has so much potential for harass, letting your carry farm unhindered. It has also helped my team get first blood several times. Glimpse on the other doesn't really see its full potential till mid/late game during chasing and TF's in my opinion...an early point is good but not max so early me thinks...+1 though very through item builds
Great guide. It's worth noting as well that Glimpse will save you from Batrider even if YOU are the target of his fire chain thingo due to the travel time. You just need to cast before he does.
i wonder, its possible to combo glimpse and bloodseeker's ulti? lets say guy is tping to tower, bloodseekers cast ulti on him and you glimpse him back to base, would he receive dmg from moving(and possibly instantly die)?
That's my bad with English. Those are two different uses of the word scales. The first is in reference to the game at large (eg, Venge aura scales well lategame compared to most support skills because it's %-based), while the second is in reference to skill points (eg, Venge aura scales poorly with more skill points as the first gives 18% bonus while each after only adds 6%.)

Though if the guy is tping in and you don't want to send them back drop a kinetic field over their tp location and go for a kill.
