She's my favorite hero though and imo, she should be paired with a hero with harass or nukes that would kill fast, not disablers that need someone else to do the job, because early game, pa seem to be more of a semi-support than a hard carry.
Like when ganking, PA slows down an enemy, your ally will nuke him and pa finishes him off with phantom strike. I don't really level my blur since it doesn't do much against gankers using skills, except maybe for the radar. i prioritize that 100 pure damage with 4 second 50% slow and 5 second cd phantom strike with 100% attack speed increase more.
that's why for example, in a game where we had ursa and blood, i played as support for both of them, slowing enemies when we gank. mainly for ursa. i let him kill the enemy, only blinks if the enemy would seem to be able to escape.
Naga Siren can initiate, as can Faceless Void but not as well.
Dragon Knight can tank
Anti-Mage has high mobility/escape, and the fastest attack speed - as well as an orb that stacks with illusions.
Lycan syllabear are both strong pushers
The reason she is not used, is early game she is pants. She can't do anything. After 30 minutes, she can take down a whole team yes, but before that she essentially farming.
to give you an idea how long 30 minutes is, the average game the international lasted just over 20.. so pro teams don't have time to spen 20 minutes + farming a carry, when racks are being pushed already.
What they need to do is make towers tankier, so even after a clash, it is still quite the mission to push a tower - that way the games last a little bit longer. Thus making late game carries more viable..
