And please for the sake of god don't go for tidehunter, razor and rubick they are all mine
And also don't forget to use coding
Maybe it would be a good idea to produce updated guides for the current meta on heroes that don't have them yet? What happens mostly is our guides quickly get outdated (mea culta too eheh)
Anything in particular you like to see in a guide? I've played plenty of most heroes so I am pretty confident in talking about every aspect but at the same time I don't want to write a HUGE guide and have no one find half of it relevant. Do you think I should just go into as much detail as possible anyway?
Thanks for any feedback!
That said, if you want a successul one I'd say not necessary to go into every possible detail, but at least very complete regarding a certain aspect and general hero stuff. For example, if you do a Treant Protector guide, maybe focusing on him as a support and be complete regarding that role can be more interesting than trying to cover also the more funky core builds. But I don't know, the world is your oyster!
Another possible idea is to get the heroes that suffered more changes with the recent patches. I've noticed, for instance, there's no updated Techies guide. So that could be great. And so on! As for guide topics, here's what I did in my old guides, but bare in mind that i have a terrible issue with being syntetic (in case it wasn't already obvious from the lenght of this comments lol):
- Presentation of yourself
- Introduction to the guide (why is it good?)
- Presentation of the hero (whatever general aspects you find more important)
- Explanation of the hero builds (including talents)
- Explanation of the item builds
- Gameplay (what are you supposed to be doing in the early game? and in the late game?)
- Counters to the heroes and heroes that you can pair with it for better results
- How to counter your own hero
- Conclusion (whatever you'd like just to close the guide up).
I hope this helps you in case you're feeling inspired! Don't forget to head on to Dr- D's guide to formatting to make it juicy coloured and feel free to ask for help whenever needed.
I wanted to do it in my own guide but i felt like betraying Huskar hmmm...
Maybe i should add it. (maybe. i still feel like a traitor)
Thanks again for the help and support! I'll be sure to ask if I have any more questions!
