Bad explaination on why you don't build treads. Why the hate on treads anyways?

I'm still kinda confused about why you go manta-style on mirana. if you use leap after using the mirror image, you will be revealed. you also didn't even mention diffusal as a core item on manta-style builds. It's a great item on builds that have manta. and finally, i think building satanic without bkb isn't a very intelligent choice because if you go on so called "god-mode" and you get stunned for 4 seconds, you just threw so much gold and a item slot into the well. other than that, it's a very good guide, i still gave a +1

Just one doubt: why don't you take one early point in Leap, specially since you offlane/mid, to help you survive gank attempts?

Uhmm, as for the skill build, it's not something I made loads of effort. If you can survive without it to start with then 1st point at level 4 is early enough. In the offlane, and ganking, yeah, get it earlier, lvl 2 or 3. Most of the time I do the 2-1-1 as shown.

I still think BKB is great on Mirana. She's inherently squishy and needs damage. Also, a simple Hex can ruin your life in a fight. You may not have to get it every game, but most games there'll be at least a couple of stuns and silences.

Could you explain Satanic as a choice? I don't quite understand the choice, so it'd be really nice if you could explain further.

Hi, yeah BKB is situational, but certainly a good item if you need it and some hp, I generally get away without getting one, but maybe I should get it more.

Satanic is there as a very late game option to tank up and go full on agi carry mode. If you need tanking up earlier then build Eye of Skadi after a Manta Style and Maelstrom, and get a HoD after for lifesteal purposes.

Satanic is very late game. Build it if you actually are carrying, and not before a Butterfly.

Due to the prevalence of Invisibility/Invisibility reveal mechanics and Mana-dependant carries in the current meta, I wouldn't want to play Mirana without a Diffusal Blade. It can remove those pesky Tracks or Dusts on teammates so that Moonlight Shadow can be used to it's fullest potential. The mana burn doubles as much-needed DPS and utility against the monstrous ults of Leshrac, Storm Spirit or Anti-Mage. The purge cooldown is so low that it can be used to seal a gank and then used again to control an enemy hero that relies on close range.

It simply synergizes with Mirana's playstyle and needs so well, and then there is the possibility of outright shutting down heroes like Omniknight, Bloodseeker or Ursa and outright shutting down items like Orchid, Euls, Mask of Madness or Solar Crest, regardless of who the beneficiary is. List of dispellable stuff for reference:
http://dota2.gamepedia.com/Dispel/Removable_buffs
(Diffusal is considered a 'Basic dispel'. Dust seems omitted, for some reason)

As core items, I think Acquila > Power Threads > Diffusal w/plenty of Thread-swapping is somewhat skill-reliant but makes you online and effective extremely fast. The movespeed from Yasha is missed, but if it is needed so badly then an extra point in Leap over an extra point in Arrow is completely fine.

Also, I would not recommend Mask of Madness on such a low EHP hero. Despite being nice for those 'intimate' 1on1 moments after a 5s Arrow gank, it is too easily punished and doesn't patch up Mirana's large needs as a carry. A casual Morbid Mask, later combined with a disassembled Acquila (to form a Vladmir's) OR a Helm of the Dominator is better. HotD especially if you can make good use of jungle creeps; their auras and abilities are quite nice.

Thanks for your feedback.

In terms of diffusal blade, I am starting to play with it much more on Mirana. It isn't something I've done all that much compared to other builds, but I certainly understand why it is so good and I am using it more and more, especially when they pick heroes like Bounty Hunter who have Track and have other invoice reveal stuff, and also against Mana dependent carries like Anti-Mage and Storm Spirit who are very popular these days.

I think Mirana is a bit weak in the current meta, and building a Diffusal Blade makes her more of warranted pick. That said, diffusal is not my dream choice, but if the game warrants it I will certainly buy it.

I should have made it more clear when I think you should get a Mask of Madness. I get it if you are not taking that much damage, perhaps because you have melee carry who is the one getting focused, and they don't have heroes like Zeus who can punish it so easily. That said I mean Mask of Madness as a last ditch effort item to resort to, that you buy late in the game, if you desperately need the damage and attack speed boost, for example when defending against say mega creeps. It is also a bit of a joke item, so I will make that more clear. If you need lifesteal later, then yes, I would build a Helm of the Dominator and finish up with a Satanic. I will also add Vlad's as a possible support Mirana item.

I will edit the bit about Diffusal Blade as well, cheers.

What Sanvitch said. Although, skadi would bee beeter choice in that case.

I imagine Satanic is there because it lets you tank up, and you are not mobile enough to warrant Heart. And Mirana desperately needs to tank up.
