I would agree that in a fight, Rupture causes some problems for Slark. Other than that though, Slark actually does very well against Bloodseeker. Bloodseeker should never be able to rupture+kill Slark because he can't prevent the slark from shadow dance + tp. Also, Urn of Shadows isn't a bad item on Slark to deal with the thirst. The strength helps quite a bit, he fights a fair amount and so charges should be expected, and heals for teammates are good. The silence should be easy to purge off.

Oh I misunderstood you. My bad, I thought you meant that the active Shadow Dance was disabled. You are right, the passive component is disabled by bloodthirst, while the active ability is not

Shadow Dance regen is disabled by bloodthirst. The passive regen. Cus they can see you.

The invisinvisibility is not, however.

Shadow Dance regen is not disabled by bloodthirst. But other than that, bloodseeker is the perfect counter to Slark. He counters every hero with high mobility, like slark, weaver, QoP and AM, with the only exception being storm spirit because of Ball Lightning

Doom with aghs upgrade disables the passive regen from Shadow Dance. Doom is known as the counter to every hero, and for the record, yes, he counters slark. Even without aghs, you disable slark for 16 seconds where he cannot use any skills or items. Slark relies on his skills to keep him alive, he is very squishy without pounce and Shadow Dance, especially before he gets Eye of Skadi so by casting doom on slark, you get ypur team to focus on him for awhile, and he's dead.

I dont think Doom can kill Slark because the his passive ults still active even get doomed, fyi the hardest counter Slark] is blood seeker due his blood thirst disabling Slark regen even under Shadow Dance :D

I'm no means an expert on the hero... but shouldn't you mention that Doom is awful to face? (I mean yes, you make a quick linkens) I fine that doom is still a serious threat, and I often pick a Doom when I see an enemy picking slark.

Well hi there, nice guide you have here. I'm also Slark player with 65% win rate for over 70 games, actually MoM on slark is situasional but better with HoTD it gives you armor and lifesteals, another suggestion for maxing out Dark Pact over Pounce in most game. Why? maybe the first word in your mind... actually with maxed Dark Pact willl give him more burst damage in lane and shorter cooldown than Pounce if you having free farm or need some burst against enemy pick up. Drum of Endurance consider getting this too for stats if the game is hard for you to buy Ultimate Orb also Soul Ring for infinite mana if you getting mana problem yet youre dominating the enemy. in my opinion better get Heart of Tarrasque than Daedalus it might feels like completely waste but if u got nuked too hard its worth or getting another Eye of Skadi

It is really up to the game if you should max Pounce over Dark Pact. If the game is full of early fights or you gank a lot then you should definetely max Pounce over Dark Pact.

The reason I like pounce more is because Slark is super dependent on moving in and out of fights. If you can't regen off you final within a fight, most other carries will be better. The levels in pounce greatly reduce the cooldown from a once per fight 20 seconds to a 6 second cooldown which can be spammed for movement. The damage is an inconsequential 75 damage after all the levels. Farming is an issue but I think you can stay in lane until you are level 10. Thanks for the feedback though.

Like the guide but I'm pretty sure that pounce before pact is almost never legit...
Pact scales way better and you cant really farm quickly until its maxed. Just food for thought.
