Good guide, been trying this out lately and it is quite strong. I would like to point out that you can very easily solo rosh @ lvl 14-15 with double spirits and alacrity.

well personaly i like to put point in invoke on level 12 mainly cuz i sometimes like to keep one of my current spells in slot instead of fizzle it so lower cooldown on invoke is my personal perferance cuz i cucle between my spells offten so 12 cd is good enough for me tho but its matter of player perspective

hmm nice edit allweuss exited to see something i haven t tried out on invoker i l conider totry out this build seem interesting, but i m not sure about invoke leveling so late i m used to have my spells up and ready for the fight but i can t wait to try it out

Thanks for the comments. There is no point in leveling invoke earlier than that. 5 second cooldown reduction per level is not worth it. Much more efficient to upgrade the rest of your spells. That is why you will see most experienced and high level Invoker players leaving the leveling up of Invoke to level 15, 16 and 17.

Pretty nice guide! +1 :D

Edit: Just can't help it. How about an e-blade?

Just noticed your edit. I think I bought it before the nerf, a few times. It was pretty good for single damage lockdown and also a counter to a right click carry. Now the item isn't so strong, don't know if I would buy it. Players can even dodge it now by casting BKB before the projectile hits.

Sure, but with 55 second cooldown, that isn't the definition of jungle flash farming. And 1 stacked hard camp doesn't bring you back into the game, unfortunately, specially since the nerfs to neutral creep gold.

Yeah, just meatball the jungle stack

I wouldn't say Invoker sucks at stack farming; he can use Chaos Meteor to clear since it deals insane damage. Not as well as other mids? Certainly. But he can do it.

This build looks interesting, but do you have a problem not getting quas until 6? Against some heroes I don't need a bunch of regen, but against someone like zeus or leshrac, I feel like I really need the regen to survive.

On most mid heroes I'd get a bottle, but invoker doesn't really have the wave clear or the move speed to get it consistently.

Well, Leshrac is really strong right now. But what works fairly well against him, and even more so vs Zeus, is getting an early magic stick or even magic wand, since you already have some of the components in the starting items (circlet and branch)
