a few thoughts. i play CK allot, i simply love this hero.. i go for a way dif item build. i would go for shadow blade just for the invis and the 150dmg bonus it gives when hitting. this hero for me is a bashing hero i hit the **** out of my enemy and remember that your images also do full dmg so the more dmg you the more your images do. i would say. i would go for 2 claritys 2 tangos 1 gauntlets of strength and 3 iron branchs for starting items. it gives nice hp and a little bit more mana with some agility remember that each point in agility gives u 1 attack speed and each point in strength gives u 1 attack dmg, 19 hp .04 hp regen and u get 13 mana for each mana point. so nice stats to begin with then i would go for power treads, shadow blade, eye of skadi, monkey king bar, satanic, and assault cuirass.. that is my item build i dont think that everyone will play with it and that i will get alot of hate for it. but that is just coz i like to play this way i worked this build out not in just reading just what the items do but doing the math behind it as well. spell order i would say chaos bolt first then rift then crit coz u aint gona go up on level 1 and hit the enemy for 3 hours until you got lucky and 10% of chance jumped in to your lap hiting with a crit and dying thanks to getting greedy coz i just hit a crit tower diving your way back to you spawn pool.. faceplam! lol no but i will agree to disagree, i might take crit third but i do only rank my chaos bolt once coz it has that huge random effect and once you have shodow blade you have 30 plus attackspeed so your chance for the crit is higher now. so i level 1 chaos 1 rift 1 crit 1 rift 1 crit 1 ulty 1 rift 1 crit 1 rift 1 crit then max chaos. i just dont find that i have the mana to be spaming chaos and rift. i normaly open with stun hit hit hit wile the enemy is running i rift then hit hit then dead haha. and with shadow you get that awesome feel of where the hell is CK now! SS SS SS SS SS then boom invis CK in your face haha. awesome to run away aswell when needed. haha

Just because I have found an alternative skill/item build from the default ones seen everywhere does that mean it will/has to be downrated by default?

And I highly doubt you Pinksock, and Pants as well to have tried following my build out in practice before downrating it. Is this correct?

I don't even need to try delaying Chaos Bolt until Level 10 to know that it's a poor choice, sorry. Stuns are stuns and Chaos Bolt is one of the best stuns in the game (and a decent nuke to boot). The benefits to leveling Chaos Strike early are not particularly high either, as your damage isn't really high enough to leverage such enhancement yet. To be blunt, not going Chaos Bolt + Reality Rift first simply doesn't make sense.

wait, I hope nobody follows this guide... CRIT STRIKE? FIRST? NO RIFT?

LOL! Rift is dominate...

you use rift, as soon as they realize what's happened, you drop the stun.. use your item actives, boom done

Please, no one follow this guide

Now just fix your Critical Strike before level 9, and your skillbuild is good.

Since I am getting hate for the Intimidation part already..it is gone from the guide to satisfy the readers...

And please elaborate whats wrong with the intimidation part, don't you find it frustrating playing against a hero which you know anything you do is useless?

What's wrong with it is that it sounds stupid, and serves no practical purpose. Why would you even bother writing it? Waste of time.

I don't really see how a tiny mana pool would allow two spells to be casted in early game, and with critical strike you outdps any other melee relying on auto attack, such as Blood seeker or Sand King, which scares them off the lane like chicken.

You overvalue early game critical strike. you either go for stun or for rift, why not stun and rift?

also intimidation factor? for real? one of the most terrifying early game heros is some floating 110lb chick in a dress.
