Crix has decent ganking abilities, an amazing ult (especially coupled with a blink dagger), great disabling and mobility (Burrowstrike, + dagger) and even good pushing power with Caustic Finale.
Against a melee carry, rushing caustic finale and good last-hitting can be extremely effective harassment
If you have a blink dagger you can channel Epicenter out of sight and Shift-queue the blink for a well placed surprise ultimate.
Burrowstrike, Sandstorm and Dagger can all be used to dodge projectiles
