By the way, you're "alternative items" receive more explanation about why you get them, than your super core blademail+force staff ^^'
Medallion not bad too, considering your familiars damages and the armor provided by gravekeeper's cloak, you won't feel the armor reduction on yourself in case you're diving.

Generally, if you are smart enough and gank well, and can keep with your team, you should be able to get Scepter-Blademail-Forcestaff. And if the enemy team leaves behind a tower, you can take it pretty quickly mid game. And the only items you 100% need are of course, blademail and force staff and your treads, which are all pretty inexpensive items. And alternatives are avaliable, experimenting with this build is very viable, just try some things to fit it to your needs.

Good, but there it is going to be a problem getting the farm for the items you've added.

Ah, nice catch, forgot about RoA, I was going to add it as a core item, decided to pass it up for keeping urn when i remembered it solves your familiar's vulnerability issues. Then i forgot to add it when adding situationals. But thanks for reminding me! And ill be sure too add some more things about gameplay, writing a guide about 4 AM takes a lot out of you, lol.

Good guide, but you should insist much more on the gameplay, i.e how to use the familiars effectively, how to control the lane, team fight positionning..

And also add some colors to the core of your guide, as entire pages are written in white, with the same policy and no bold characters.

You talk a lot about items, but you don't even consider using Rod of Atos which is highlighted in the shop panel for Visage. Gives just the intel you need to cover all mana problems, as well as giving damages, which is always good on Visage, and an absurd amount of 400 health, which really makes your survivability skyrocket. And finally, the active ability lets you chase for a long long time (Grave chill, rod of atos, grave chill again) or can simply be used to guarantee a stun (the slow from grave chill isn't enough to guarantee that your familiars will stun your target, use it in combination of rod of atos to completely stop the opponent). It's definitly a viable alternative choice. (although Aghanim is my core)

Ah, Visage, a hero I rarely see, but always owns my team.

Nice guide, well-written and simple. I really hope to see Visage in competitive playing again.
