And now to the serious part:

I don't know why people kerp asking this question, when you fall in love with someone you will notice it. But still i'm gonna answer this.

IMO i want to spend time with that person and do stuff with her (Perverted stuff and non perverted stuff). It's that simple for me, dunno about others.

DISCLAIMER (i hope i use the term right)

This thread was made because of mere curiosity. I have witnessed people who fell in love with one another, and also those whose hearts are broken.

I was curious what might others feel. Because hey, I am one person who liked to observe. If I could i'd make a world and see how the denizens interact with one another.

And actually, I was expecting paragraphs.

What is it about you that makes me feel weak,
And gives me the goose bumps whenever you speak?
Why does the sight of you fill me with pleasure,
Like a spotlight that shines on a glorious treasure?

Are you so different from others I’ve known?
What qualities do you have that are yours alone?
What can it be that fills up my heart?
And makes me feel lost whenever we part?

There’s no easy answer for this marvelous bliss,
For the wonder I feel whenever we kiss,
For the fire that rages at the touch of your skin,
For the way my heart pounds for you way deep within.

It must be the power of love that I feel,
That ties me in bonds that seem strong as steel.
I could fight to get loose, but I’d rather give in;
To stay trapped by your charms is how I will win.
I long to talk with some old lover's ghost,
Who died before the god of love was born.
I cannot think that he, who then lov'd most,
Sunk so low as to love one which did scorn.
But since this god produc'd a destiny,
And that vice-nature, custom, lets it be,
I must love her, that loves not me.

Sure, they which made him god, meant not so much,
Nor he in his young godhead practis'd it.
But when an even flame two hearts did touch,
His office was indulgently to fit
Actives to passives. Correspondency
Only his subject was; it cannot be
Love, till I love her, that loves me.

But every modern god will now extend
His vast prerogative as far as Jove.
To rage, to lust, to write to, to commend,
All is the purlieu of the god of love.
O! were we waken'd by this tyranny
To ungod this child again, it could not be
I should love her, who loves not me.

Rebel and atheist too, why murmur I,
As though I felt the worst that love could do?
Love might make me leave loving, or might try
A deeper plague, to make her love me too;
Which, since she loves before, I'am loth to see.
Falsehood is worse than hate; and that must be,
If she whom I love, should love me.

Unscathed my boy.
You CANT observe love.
You can only know it.

Ah, what wonderful poem keep calm and write. Copy pasta source pls?

'Love', I fear that 'love' is just another term for sexual desires. Are there more to it?

Hmm, guys give more replies please.
From my observations, it makes men a fool. Most of the time, it broke hearts, shed tears.

To love.. to yearn for another.. is it even worth it?

knowing someones flaws

but they dont matter.

love is

jealousy from fear

love is

rough

sickening

scary

hot

cold

joyous

but most of all

love is

kind

it forces one who is in love to care for another so much that they

for once

put them

ahead of themselves...

love is

selfless...

There's more kinds of love. What you seem interested in is love for a partner. Well, first of all, if you never experienced it (like both sides, mutually, not just you liking certain girl / boy - not implying anything here, but there might be someone else reading this post as well) you probably won't be able to identify it.

I did go through a couple relationships over the course of my life. In some of them I got dumped for no reason, in others I just got cheated on, and the last... well I dumped girls as well, but never for someone else.

You can identify love in every small action you perform - every small detail you see. The way a couple looks at each other, the way they hold their hands, the way they protect and help each other. The way they act selfless towards each other. That is what I believe to be unconditional love.

You can't really tell what is love in words. It's in the eyes of the beholder, just as beauty.

It's all a matter of perspective.

You don't love your mother the way you love your wife (hopefully) or whatever. Unless Freud was right.

There's Eros, Agape and I forgot what other two forms of love. But if you do love somebody, you know that you love them.

The way love is expressed varies with every person you encounter.
