The Huntress

"Clever girl."

Being a simple creature means Ostrommi has to rely on being clever, quick and in charge of her pack. Underestimated typically far too late, this raptor matriarch can be real terror on the battlefield between the Ancients.

Ostrommi is an Agility based initiator and carry that is built around being quick and sneaky, but not necessarily invisible. Queen of her pack, this raptor queen uses vicious cunning to come out ahead.

Horrifying Roar
The Huntress lets out a guttural, horrifying cry that causes nearby enemy heroes to become frightened. After the immediate shock wears off, enemy heroes run toward their home fountain while having their movement speed lowered.

On the Prowl
The Huntress is a master of using her environment to approach prey in a stealthy manner. While on the prowl she will disappear from the enemy team's minimap and will have her speed increased. Attacking while on the prowl breaks it but gives her bonus damage on the attack.

Queen of the Pack
Never truly being alone, The Huntress calls on some of her packmates to remain hidden in an area and lie in wait, ambushing enemies that pass through the area. Walking through the area deals damage over time while applying a stacking slow on enemies. This ability works on charges that recharge. The pack areas cannot be placed on top of each other, but they may overlap slightly.

Vicious Withdrawal
Vicious hooked claws allow the Huntress to grab an enemy hero and drag them away, doing damage over time. The damage over time is based off the difference between the movement speed of the Huntress versus the enemy hero. If uninterrupted, when the last instance of damage is done, the target is slowed by 100% for 0.5 seconds. During this time, the Huntress controls the movement of herself and the enemy target while appearing to walk backwards, dragging them with her. It also reduces the target's vision due to the sheer trauma of the attack.

Hero Concept and Synergy

DotA needs a dinosaur, and who doesn't love raptors?

I always liked the concept of PA's "Minimap Invisibility" and thought that it could emulate a more camouflage like stealth. I also thought there really isn't an ability that lets you control an enemies movement, but thought that having both characters move the same way could make it fun.

The basic synergy comes from the distance you would drag them with your ultimate being based on the difference between your movement speed versus theirs (first and second abilities) and ultimately trying to pull them into a raptor pack (third ability).

I admit some of the values need tweaking, but hopefully it helps give you an idea of what I was going for.

Aghanim's Scepter

Her scepter upgrade would give her ultimate range, so instead of having to activate it in melee she could leap into a fight from a distance, doing some initial damage as well.
