The Exiled

LORE:

Once a renowned mage of the Ghastly Eryie, Kohr'Avan had a lust for knowledge of all kind. He had read all of the thousands of books, scrolls and scripts found in the Grand Library of the Skywrath. All but one, An eerie white book hidden in a secret room locked by arcane seals, only known to those of the court of the Ghastly Eyrie. It's cover had a faint shimmer as if it was made of starlight and the pages were as black as the darkest obsidian. The text in it, unknown and written in gold ink. Against all the stories and warnings of the court about the book. Kohr'Avan wanted to known what secrets was locked away in it. So he stole it . . . with ease.

As quick as he stole the book. He began to lock himself in his study, eager to unlock the secrets it held. What he found WAS Knowledge. . . knowledge of cosmic horrors beyond comprehension. The more Kohr'Avan read the book the more his body transformed. By the time the Court had found out the atrocity, He was far too twisted and weaked into a more primal form.

The Court of the Ghastly Eyrie were unforgiving in their punishment. They blinded Kohr'Avan, all three eyes he gained from book. Blinding him so he may never read it again. His wings were also bound and sealed by a higher form of arcane magic that even he could not break . . . *yet*. Lastly he was exiled never to be accepted again by his former kin.

Years passed, Kohr'Avan wanders the Fields of Endless Carnage. He formed a pact with the Butcher, Kohr'Avan would help him with moving the carcasses. In exchange Kohr'Avan would get to take any trinkets or treasure the dead didn't need.

On one faithless day, he found a black gem. A gem that emanated with power... power to take back what was his..


HERO DESCRIPTION:

Kohr'Avan is a Dire, range intelligence hero skilled in dealing high amounts of damage and area denial of the battle field. Although he can deal massive amounts of damages in quick succession he also is dangerously vulnerable each time he uses his abilities, positioning and careful use of abilities is keep to avoid the cold grip of death. While he gets weak when casting abilities, his SEARING RUBY keeps him fairly tanky when maxed early on. Kohr'Avan is also fairly good at clearing waves of creeps for gold and pushing with his CHARGED SAPPHIRE, on the other hand reckless usage of the skill may lead to a lack of mana when the time needs it. Synergies like TREMOR EMERALD can help Kohr'Avan keep heroes in CHARGED SAPPHIRE and if the enemies are still a live you can drop a SEARING RUBY on them to finish them off. Using ASTRAL OBSIDIAN when you've used all of your abilities, your low on HEALTH/MANA and the enemies are still alive.Will give you a small amount of hp and mana to help you. Kohr'Avan requires careful usage of his skills to destroy enemies while keeping his weaknesses hidden.

Kohr'Avan hurls the RUBY towards an area dealing a high amount of damage to any units caught in the AOE.


When used:
- Leaves a gem in the center of the impact radius.
- The gem acts like an item but, can't be destroyed.
- Enemy heroes can pick it up but can't backpack it.
- Passive effects of the ability are disabled, until the cooldown ends or Kohr'Avan gets the gem back.
- Kohr'Avan can pick the gem up to refresh the abilities cooldown
- Enemies gain it's passive effects when picked up.
- Any debuff areas caused by the gem instantly disappear when enemy heroes pick it up
- The gem disappears from the an enemy heroes inventory when the cooldown ends.
- Gems stay on the ground until picked up or the abilities cooldown ends.

Charged Sapphire
Kohr'Avan hurls the SAPPHIRE towards an area dealing damage. Causes the ground to surge with electricity, dealing damage per second to any enemy units in the AOE. Adds a debuff that periodically refreshes every second the enemy stays in the AOE.


When used:
- Leaves a gem in the center of the impact radius.
- The gem acts like an item but, can't be destroyed.
- Enemy heroes can pick it up but can't backpack it.
- Passive effects of the ability are disabled, until the cooldown ends or Kohr'Avan gets the gem back.
- Kohr'Avan can pick the gem up to refresh the abilities cooldown
- Enemies gain it's passive effects when picked up.
- Any debuff areas caused by the gem instantly disappear when enemy heroes pick it up
- The gem disappears from the an enemy heroes inventory when the cooldown ends.

Kohr'Avan hurls the EMERALD towards an area dealing a small amount of damage. Causes the ground to tremble, slowing enemy heroes caught in the area of effect. Slow doesn't get reapplied but new units entering with gain the debuff.


When used:
- Leaves a gem in the center of the impact radius.
- The gem acts like an item but, can't be destroyed.
- Enemy heroes can pick it up but can't backpack it.
- Passive effects of the ability are disabled, until the cooldown ends or Kohr'Avan gets the gem back.
- Kohr'Avan can pick the gem up to refresh the abilities cooldown
- Enemies gain it's passive effects when picked up.
- Any debuff areas caused by the gem instantly disappear when enemy heroes pick it up
- The gem disappears from the an enemy heroes inventory when the cooldown ends.
