Wizards and casters alike, before any of them begin their attempts to study the complexity of spell conjuration and performing the mind-boggling prestidigitations of wands and staffs, it is imperative for them to learn the very nature of energy for what they are about to perform, be it transmogrification of nemesis into much feebler lesser being or perhaps surging an enemy with a fatal bolt of thunder, none may be done without full comprehension of energy and how to control them.
However, no one fully understands energy the way Aditya does. It is of his belief that the measure of one's dexterity in magic is how he deal with energy. Never do he care about magic, let alone to study even the simplest art of hex. Not until the very day when the seventy-seventh Violet Eclipse occured and all within the land of Utopium gained power to the fullest, that even the antlers of the Sabledeers are gleaming golden, a phenomenon so rare that if it ever happens, what touched by the antlers will soon be transmuted. Independent of the Vatu Kingdom's acknowledgement, a battle strategy has been meticulously planned by the Varuna Kingdom for seven years before the Eclipse. They are plotting an assault over Vatu and true, Vatu was attacked. The Eclipse was bloody. Souls slain, houses burnt, heads decapitated. Watching such brutality over the Kingdom ruled by his family, Aditya felt utterly helpless yet he cannot afford to lose his throne. Then it happened.
Involuntarily he walked into the battlefield as if someone or something was instructing him to do things. Seeing injured allies, he healed them. Seeing vigorous foes, he debilitated them, all with spells he knows that he never knows of. Until when he stood in the middle of the battlefield, that he released such disruptive power, so entropic, so unstable that enemies fall to their knees, drained out of power to fight. Victory was certain, they won. But what was that? What happened?
Alas no one knows but him; that he was bequeathed by the Red and Blue Moon the power to bend energy, the power bestowed to be harnessed to save his kingdom. But for he used it so well, the two Moons decided to let him keep it. That one day, when his help is needed, he will at least be there. Funny how ignorance turned out to be not only a bliss, but a bless.
