why not? he has a slow and he can tank well and chrono works really well with other ults like chain frost and witch doctors ward.
Support heroes have no carry potential. By playing void as support you waste his carry potential. Witch Doctor, for example, is a support hero because he doesn't scale as well with items as a carry does. Void is a carry because items let him scale into the late game. Oh and Void can't tank well. Timbersaw can tank well.
How can you possibly think Void can support?!
