I think DoTA2 might be done by the end of this year....maybe sooner. And I am absolutely positive the last hero they will add is Tinker since he changes the meta so much with those damn mines. Although I didn't play the original DoTA, I wanna try Slark.

You mean Goblin Techies, Tinker is already in the game :D

I wanted to play techies right when I read his third skill.

Also, the heroes you guys said were imba in the original Dota (I have never played) might have their skills changed, like Nyx.

Nah, he wasn't imba, if you would buy a Gem of True Sight, rangers could kill his bombs.

Or if you would play, let's say, Axe, you could walk with Blade Mail in his bombs and kill him

Hopefully not too much change is made to them. I liked their original skills, but for the sake of balancing the game, I wouldn't complain if they chose to modify them. Only thing that would suck is not releasing one of them.

Every hero will be released, even if they are 'overpowered' or 'unbalanced' they must be released and 'fixed'.

I'd remove Huskar from the game tho.

@StevenLK

Some heroes were changed, like Nyx Assassin's third skill Urna Swarm has been replaced with Spiked Carapace for some reason, I dunno why, but I find it better and cooler.

@nryn

Very easy to play and dominate games with (in pubs I mean)

@Alcatraz

Magnataur, ah, I miss that old bastard. He's fun to play, also deals a lot of damage.

You can find all his abilities and information here.

the swarm was given to weaver and nyx got spiked carapace so that he'd have a bit of survivability after he initiates.
there's tons of heroes that have changed over time.
i remember PA stilll having blink strike and phantom strike(DoT, not the current phantom strike). not sure if she also had fan of knives back then.
i remember me being surprised after razor got reworked.
items are changed too, like when lothar's edge(shadow blade) required 2 blades of alacrity. drow ranger really loved that.

though if you meant like PA's blur where' she's almost transparent in the original, you just need to watch her shadow, in dota 2 she can still be seen.
i'm not sure about this one, but iirc jugg's spinning will silence you, but you can try to cast omnislash so when you spin, you just click it and spam left click on someone, in 2 you have to finish the spin first before you can click it.

well, depends on the players. i myself am not afraid of facing huskar in a lane. i've faced him hundreds of times before.

magnataur is really strong. i haven't used him but i know a bit how to.
