LC: Which OP is she?

Is there a certain time to draft her in the jungle instead of the lane? I agree that her Q is overwhelmingly strong, I agree with blubbles that this **** is so good in dual lanes. One stun into Overwhelming Odds on a melee hero taking CS near his creeps=almost certainly dead. Done this with a friend before, even a tanky hero like CK fell.

But still, for the sake of theory crafting, is there a time- even a VERY situational one- where drafting her in the jungle is viable? If so what kind of a draft would it be and what hero would it consist?

I think it works, but, much like Nature's Prophet and Ursa, LC functions much better in lane.

(I think someone said something along the lines of this: "There are only 3 heroes in the game that functions better in the jungle than in lane: Chen, Enchantress, and Enigma.")

The only real reason why you would pick it is to be an anti- Chen counter jungle kinda thing

Well in my past 10 games or so I've had a LC in at least half and they are still maxing WE. We as a community must try and enlighten the Dota 2 community. Together we can fight this folly.

I had a game against legion commander. I was playing silencer. She rage quit in the late game.


So the story goes like this:
I went mid silencer , as I was playing the new silencer for the first time. I thought of going atos as I was shutting pudge down so beautifully I suspected that I must suck so hard as my enemies are really 1k MMR. Now I didn't gank because pudge was not ganking and thought of farming up mid. Ofcourse I used ultimates to save the teammates whenever a gank happened. Now Legion got farmed by duelling morph many times and had 83 damage at early mid game. This was the time she was really threatening. Morph got linkens and she switched targets to shaman and me. We fed her, but then I got ethereal as suggested in this thread.

My thoughts on ethereal are that you need good reflexes to execute the active when playing a baller LC, otherwise the duel is over in3 seconds. Further Blink dagger is so good forpositioning that LC would not mind too much even if I am right there to protect my teammate, she simply targets me or shadow Shaman gains damage and finishes of AM just by using moment of courage. It was morph and axe that really stood out and helped us counteract. Pudge literally couldn't comeback from the horrendous lane.


LC really is another kind of morphling imo. She has no comeback potential. If shes ahead and if her team falls off, she cant remedy it. She cant fight 1v5. She just cant, even if she snowballs hard. We came back from a mid rax down, with 4v5 fighting against her and AM ratted top. She just cant do much where the enemy team has versatility other than ratting. She is not a good teamfighter even, this I say from this experience where she locks down on one person and we go for the other 4 using axe as the initiator.


IMO silencer is really good to kill her potential snowball because of his ulti. CM got shut, LC can use ulti, pudge's ulti was countered and SF was SF, falling down to my traps, coordinated by Shaman's excellent shackles.


I could have gone refresher and wrecked them so easy without going ethereal blade. So my advice is get a lockdown hero or an anti-initiator/counter-initiator, he is better any day than an item which cant fit on every hero.


One thing I didn't try was sheeping LC while people duelled, does that work(LC without BKB ofcourse)?

It should. IIRC even stuns stop the duelers from attacking.

If a dueling units gets hexed, or disarmed by Frostbite or Overgrowth it continues attacking.

Even if the hero got hexed before the duel started???
