The Analyzer is a 1v1 fight analysis application for Dota 2. You choose your and your opponent's hero, items, level and stat point. The app calculates the hit counts, damage taken and shows you the winner. It also gives detailed information about the fight. It is useful in comparing builds nad hypothetical combat situations.
First version does not include skills, but will be added in future updates. We would love to see any feedback from the community.
If you would like to try it out here's the link to the app page.
I would say I am bit skeptical to click on that link however this all sounds legit. Can someone else verify if he is giving away a legit source of link?? =)
Its an app on google. Whether you think it is legit or not is different, but it it can be trusted to have no malware, imo.
However, i feel that this app is a waste of time. dota isn't so simple to be able to decide 1v1 matchups based on theory, much of it comes on who has the jump, execution, and the team effort.
Google has a really strict policy about the apps that they distribute through Play Store. They really check what you upload inside out before handling it to the end user. So don't worry about the apps you download from Play Store:)
Anyway indeed in Dota lots of things depend on the players. Playing style, execution and team play is a huge side of Dota. But the thing is, The Analyzer's purpose is not to give you the exact outcome of the fight. There are too much things to consider and even if you consider it all there is still the human factor. It's purpose is to give the player a clue, a result to interpret to understand where they stand if a fight breaks out. As a carry are you farmed enough to oppose the other team's carry or should you just keep on farming and avoid an encounter? Could Arteezy had taken that fight if he kept on right clicking his opponent? If you attacked your opponent who is solo farming in the lane, what would happen? Or which build for Anti-Mage is better at damage output?(You can change the items and compare a hero by itself) This is the general idea of the app. At least this is what we aimed for. As we have stated in the description adding the skills is the next step so the results would get much accurate as we update our app:)
